Transition English Language
This is a 10-week course offered to selected students only. It is designed to provide students who are new to New Zealand, with some key English vocabulary, as well as a basic understanding of high school here The class will be a mixed year level group and focus on language development. Learning will be both inside and outside the classroom. It is intended to support students who will transition into a mainstream, age appropriate timetable. Assessment of student learning will take place at the end of the course to determine if students have reached a foundation level of English.
