Transition English Language
This is a 10-week course designed to provide new students with some key English vocabulary, as well as a basic understanding of high school in New Zealand. The class will be a mixed year level group and focus on language development. Learning will be both inside and outside the classroom. It is intended to support students who will transition into a mainstream, age appropriate mainstream classroom. Assessment of student learning will take place at the end of the course to determine if students have reached a foundation level of English.

Vocabulary workbook $20
Stationery required: 1B8 exercise book, pencil, eraser, blue and black pen, glue stick.

- If you do not make sufficient progress in the remainder of the year (i.e. in your entrance exams, course work and end-of-year exams), you may not be accepted into the subject of your choice
