Te Reo Māori
The advantages of having achieved some proficiency in Te Reo Māori are apparent in terms of career, education in life-skills and appreciation of our indigenous culture. The study of Māori Language offers many areas for graduates to pursue careers in, such as teaching, research, archives, property, administration, policy advice, television, radio, acting, health work and social work.
Knowledge of Māori is increasingly expected and required of those seeking to study in many graduate courses at University.
